Looking back at my three years in NCF, I see nothing but the fingerprints of God’s goodness all over my life. These years have been more than just a chapter, they’ve been a testimony of how God uses people, places, and moments to shape and bless us.

Thüjolü Phesao

completed her Master of Science at Wilson College, Mumbai, specializing in Inorganic Chemistry. She also gained a one-year internship at Universal NutriScience Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. During her three years in the city, she served in the Naga Students’ Union Mumbai (NSUM), holding the position of Information & Public Secretary (2023–2024) and later serving as President (2024–2025)

Serving as the Ushering Core Leader has been an incredible honour. Taught me humility, responsibility, and the joy of serving God’s people. There were Sundays I missed, moments I fell short in my responsibilities… Yet this church never turned away, but instead embraced me with open arms, always joyful at our presence and set a  reminder that service is about the heart, not perfection.

NCF family has truly been my home away from home, a place where my heart has found warmth, belonging, and joy. Words fall short to express how deeply grateful I am. From the uplifting Sunday services to the monthly connects, from adventurous treks to the treasured visits to Pastor’s home to eating Sis Lima’s lovely cook. Wow! What a blessing

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts

Acts 2:46

And how can I forget the kindness of the NCF family- opening their homes for a quick cup of tea, lunch and dinner, sharing not just meals, but laughter, stories, and love that nourished my soul. They were living reminders of Acts 2:46–47, where believers “broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts” . Truly, this is a glimpse of God’s kingdom here on earth.

Three years of my stay in Mumbai has been a season rich with friendships, lessons, adventures, and most importantly a deeper walk with Him.

May this fellowship continue to be a light, a home for the weary, a place where love is seen and felt and our unity be a testimony of God’s goodness.

God bless this family!
