My experiences with the NCF family go all the way back to my undergraduate days. It was a time of overwhelming and unpredictable experiences with chaotic life, but God had a plan for me in strengthening and molding me from chaos to a more meaningful life. (As written in Genesis 1:2)
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters
Genesis 1:2
Throughout those times it was a constant struggle, wrestling with God about my purpose on this earth and during that stage of life NCF acted as a God’s messenger reminding me of his plans as well as guiding me to live a Christ centered life through Matthew 5:3
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
Matthew 5:3
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Fast forward 2019, coming to Mumbai for my residency was another whole different life journey. In a field of excruciating demand for physical endurance and burnout. NCF services have been a source of promoting a clearer and positive state of mind by restoring my personal relationship with God.

As a human it’s not easy to keep physical and spiritual life in balance and you tend to detach from spiritual life but attending the services brought peace and mental calmness, replenishing my physical tiredness to look ahead in life.

So, to me NCF has been a community that brought tranquillity and spiritual nourishment, reminding that people need more than material things to truly live but God’s word as a sustenance as written in Matthew 4:4. And so the church helped me to reconcile my relationship with God and was very fortunate enough to get baptised in NCF Mumbai church by the pastor.
Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4
After leaving Mumbai, the future is inherently uncertain but my years with NCF Mumbai have impacted me so much that I would always cherish and carry it with me throughout my journey.
